Hi, I am Carol and as my username suggests I am a Tar Heel. Graduated from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School, I also have a degree in Engineering.

A lot of my friends (and even myself) wondered what I was doing in an engineering school when one of my favorite things to do in my free time was to write. What I realized is that as time went by I "lost" my ability to write and express myself in words. Instead I  tried to look for a formula, a graphic or a drawing to express my thoughts.

During my last assignment at UNC, I needed to present to my colleagues how that specific course had impacted my life in a creative way. That meant no power point presentation, and absolutely no graphs nor excel spreadsheets! I wrote a story. It was hard at first, but I did it.

Now, after almost 2 years of debating where and how I could go back to writing, I found this website and am excited with the opportunity to get back to writing and improving my skills.

I am originally from Brazil so please take that in consideration if you see any improper grammar or spelling. I will try my best not to make mistakes.

Lastly, I am passionate about sustainability. I will try to focus most of my writing under that category but hey... I am a Gemini - the sky is the limit. Stay tuned and let's have some fun!
